Responsibility
- Administer, monitor, and maintain HPC clusters, GPU-accelerated systems, and AI/ML infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Kubernetes, Docker, Slurm, or similar orchestration tools for scalable AI workloads.
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and alerting using Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Ensure security best practices (e.g., access controls, encryption, compliance) are applied across HPC and AI environments.
- Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in HPC, AI, and cloud computing to recommend and integrate new technologies.
- Provide on-call support and incident response for mission-critical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HPC, AI infrastructure, or cloud operations (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration, HPC clusters (e.g., Slurm, PBS), and GPU-accelerated computing (NVIDIA, CUDA).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration for AI/ML workloads.
- Strong knowledge of networking, storage systems (e.g., Lustre, Ceph), and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and logging frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
