As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests experience the exceptional service Hilton is renowned for. Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet Hilton’s rigorous cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of all housekeeping duties, including room cleaning, turndown service, and deep cleaning.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain quality control and address any issues promptly.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to address guest requests, report maintenance issues, and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, including linens, amenities, and cleaning products, and place orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests related to housekeeping services with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton’s health, safety, and hygiene protocols, as well as local regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role within a hotel or resort.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts, to meet operational demands.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that may require standing, bending, lifting, and moving for extended periods.
- A proactive, guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
