Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities meet 5-star cleanliness standards.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to verify compliance with brand and hygiene protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring cost-effective usage without compromising quality.
- Train, mentor, and schedule housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly, ensuring resolution with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with maintenance and front-office teams to maintain seamless property operations.
- Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives (e.g., eco-friendly cleaning practices) in alignment with Cove Living’s values.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, occupancy trends, and supply usage for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in housekeeping supervision within hotels, resorts, or luxury serviced apartments.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping best practices, sanitation standards, and OSHA guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and inventory software is advantageous.
