Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective usage.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation protocols in compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including occupancy rates, staff performance, and supply usage.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as best practices in housekeeping management.
- Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS) and other relevant software.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
