Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to the highest standards.
- Ensure all assigned areas are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., linens, toiletries, cleaning agents).
- Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness, functionality, and safety, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow established housekeeping protocols, including sanitation and hygiene standards, to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry services, including sorting, washing, folding, and ironing linens and guest clothing as required.
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to address guest concerns or special requirements.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying supervisors of low stock or damaged items.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality is a plus.
- Proven experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field (preferably in hotels or resorts).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy items (up to 20 kg), and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian; additional languages are an advantage.
