Responsibility
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a spotless and inviting space.
- Restock and replenish room amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens according to established standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and elevators.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to meet health and safety regulations.
- Respond to guest requests for additional services (e.g., extra pillows, turndown service) in a timely and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., front desk, maintenance) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Follow sustainable practices, such as minimizing waste and using eco-friendly cleaning products where applicable.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related role within the hospitality industry (preferably in hotels or resorts).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 20 kg, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic English communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues effectively.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
