Responsibility
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas (guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house) meet 5-star cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
- Develop and implement SOPs, checklists, and quality control measures to maintain consistency across all properties.
- Coordinate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to streamline workflows and address guest requests promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and uphold brand standards.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping, implementing corrective actions to enhance satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainable and eco-friendly housekeeping solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams of 20+ staff members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with guests, staff, and management.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Certification in hospitality management or related fields is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
