As part of our front-desk team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of guest satisfaction and operational excellence that our hotel is known for.
Responsibility
- Manage the guest check-in and check-out process efficiently and professionally.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a friendly and problem-solving attitude.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone, email, and in-person.
- Manage the hotel's night audit processes during midnight shifts to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and facility quality.
- Provide concierge-style information regarding local attractions, transportation, and dining options in the Bugis area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level, or a Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism Management.
- Prior experience in a hotel front office or customer service role is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and midnight/night shifts.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure or during peak hours.
- Fluent in English; ability to speak a second language is a significant advantage.
