Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel equipment and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections of all hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural integrity, to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, renovations, or large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, prioritizing guest safety and comfort at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and expenditures for reporting and budgeting purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Engineering, to ensure seamless operations and a superior guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and mentor staff.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and inventory tracking systems.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages, especially Bahasa Indonesia, are a plus.
- Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical, HVAC) or a degree in Engineering/Facility Management is highly desirable.
