Responsibility
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing systems.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, tears, or damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure timely processing of laundry requests from housekeeping and guest services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry facility in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Handle delicate fabrics and specialty items (e.g., silk, wool) with appropriate care techniques.
- Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies (detergents, softeners, etc.) and notify management of low stock.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to prioritize urgent laundry needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 months of experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Age 35 years or below.
- Basic knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and laundry chemicals.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in English (basic Indonesian is a plus).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
