Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Ensure all rooms are inspected before guest arrival, with special attention to detail in bedding, bathrooms, and amenities.
- Restock and replenish room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to prioritize room cleaning based on guest check-in/check-out schedules.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including carpets, windows, and upholstery, as assigned.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with guests, addressing any special requests with courtesy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related field (hotel experience is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often under time constraints.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper safety procedures.
- Fluent in English (additional languages, especially Bahasa Indonesia, are advantageous).
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings as required.
