As a Hotel Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel. Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of all hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC systems, electrical circuits, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with hotel management to implement preventive maintenance schedules and reduce downtime.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and emergency repairs to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards for all engineering operations.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for immediate repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Promote energy efficiency and sustainability by recommending and implementing eco-friendly solutions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a maintenance engineer, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
