Responsibility
- Oversee daily hostel operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships to optimize cost efficiency.
- Implement and enforce hostel policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor occupancy rates and implement strategies to maximize revenue and guest retention.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Organize and promote social events, tours, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to boost online visibility and reputation through reviews and social media.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in hostel, hotel, or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in English (additional languages a plus).
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and basic accounting tools.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
- Passion for travel, cultural exchange, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of Baliβs tourism industry and local regulations is advantageous.
