Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely table turnover and smooth operations.
- Provide accurate information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with diplomacy and a solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area at all times.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
- Uphold Holiday Inn’s service standards and brand reputation through consistent excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar customer-facing role in hospitality.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and reservation software is advantageous.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indian cuisine and dining etiquette is a bonus.
