Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food service areas including kitchens, dining rooms, and storage facilities
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure proper sanitation of all tableware, glassware, and utensils
- Assist with basic food preparation and plating under chef supervision
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic work environment
- Support banquet and event setup including table arrangements and decor installation
- Assist with waste management and recycling programs in accordance with resort sustainability policies
- Provide exceptional support to kitchen and service staff during peak operating hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality stewardship or similar role
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20kg
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic English language proficiency (additional languages a plus)
