Responsibility

  • Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations based on menu knowledge and guest preferences.
  • Deliver orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and special requests are accommodated.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including table settings and service stations.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with diplomacy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and timely order fulfillment.
  • Process payments accurately using POS systems and provide itemized receipts to guests.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with local health regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a restaurant, cafe, or hotel (preferably in a high-volume or luxury setting).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, with a willingness to learn.
