Responsibility
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and live chats from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide accurate information on healthcare services, appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and insurance claims.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns efficiently, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical staff and IT support, to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards to protect patient confidentiality and data security.
- Meet and exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on healthcare policies, product knowledge, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare, BPO, or call center environments.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering empathetic and efficient support.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work fixed night shifts (7 PM - 4 AM) and adapt to a structured schedule with weekends off.
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or certification in healthcare/related fields is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
