Responsibility
- Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of dialysis machines and equipment.
- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring and comfort support during treatment.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe dialysis environment.
- Document patient information accurately and update medical records as required.
- Collaborate with nurses and medical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, dietary requirements, and post-treatment care.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Nursing, Healthcare Assistance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a dialysis centre or renal care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and dialysis procedures.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is advantageous.
