As an HSE Officer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying hazards, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring adherence to local and international HSE standards. Based in the vibrant and rapidly developing region of Badung—home to key areas like Canggu, Ubud, and Kuta—you’ll work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact operational excellence and sustainability.
Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
- Organize and deliver HSE training sessions for employees, contractors, and management to promote a safety-first culture.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, including incident logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
- Stay updated on emerging HSE regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements to ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with external agencies, such as government regulators and certification bodies, for audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in the construction or heavy industry sector.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations (e.g., K3, PP No. 50/2012) and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management software (e.g., Intelex, SAP EHS).
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing regulatory landscapes.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
