Responsibility
- Develop and implement innovative fitness programs tailored to guest needs, including group classes, personal training, and wellness workshops.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of fitness instructors, personal trainers, and wellness staff to ensure high performance and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the maintenance and safety of all fitness equipment, facilities, and amenities to uphold premium standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., nutrition, spa, and medical) to create integrated wellness packages and promotions.
- Monitor industry trends and introduce cutting-edge fitness technologies or methodologies to enhance the guest experience.
- Conduct regular assessments of guest fitness levels and progress, providing personalized recommendations.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships for fitness-related supplies and services.
- Organize and host wellness events, challenges, and community initiatives to boost engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fitness management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (e.g., Fitness Director, Gym Manager).
- Certified by a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent).
- Proven track record in team leadership, program development, and operational management in a high-end or resort setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations for fitness facilities.
- Proficiency in fitness software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
