Responsibility
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of waitstaff to deliver exceptional service standards
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including reservations, seating, and service flow
- Ensure seamless communication between kitchen, bar, and service teams
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and diplomacy
- Monitor inventory of tableware, linens, and service equipment, coordinating with management for restocking
- Uphold hygiene and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations
- Assist in creating and implementing service policies to enhance guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with management on staff scheduling, performance reviews, and training programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or head waiter/waitress role in a high-volume restaurant or luxury hospitality setting
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Strong knowledge of fine dining service techniques, including wine pairing and tableside service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional demeanor, problem-solving skills, and a passion for hospitality
- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation management software
- Valid food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
