Responsibility

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of waitstaff to deliver exceptional service standards
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including reservations, seating, and service flow
  • Ensure seamless communication between kitchen, bar, and service teams
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Monitor inventory of tableware, linens, and service equipment, coordinating with management for restocking
  • Uphold hygiene and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations
  • Assist in creating and implementing service policies to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with management on staff scheduling, performance reviews, and training programs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or head waiter/waitress role in a high-volume restaurant or luxury hospitality setting
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining service techniques, including wine pairing and tableside service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Professional demeanor, problem-solving skills, and a passion for hospitality
  • Familiarity with POS systems and reservation management software
  • Valid food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
