As the Vendor Management Head, you will oversee the end-to-end vendor lifecycleâfrom sourcing and negotiation to performance evaluation and risk mitigation. Based in Denpasar, Bali, youâll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to align vendor management with our business objectives. Responsibility
- Strategic Vendor Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality vendors that align with company standards and cost-efficiency goals.
- Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead negotiations for service agreements, ensuring favorable terms, SLAs, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement KPIs to assess vendor performance, addressing gaps and fostering continuous improvement.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to vendor reliability, financial stability, and supply chain disruptions.
- Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives through competitive bidding, bulk purchasing, and process streamlining.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to align vendor strategies with business needs.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure all vendors adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Introduce best practices and technologies to enhance vendor management efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs Degree: In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. MBA or advanced certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the shipping, logistics, or maritime industry, including vendor ecosystems and regulatory frameworks.
- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to negotiate contracts, resolve conflicts, and build long-term vendor relationships.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills to evaluate vendor performance, costs, and market trends.
- Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in ERP systems, vendor management software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of Filipino or Indonesian is an advantage.
