Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing purchasing team, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee vendor selection, evaluation, and performance management to ensure reliable and ethical sourcing.
- Collaborate with finance, production, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with budgetary and operational goals.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and industry developments to anticipate risks and opportunities.
- Implement digital procurement tools and ERP systems to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and sustainability initiatives in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen to evaluate cost structures, ROI, and budget impacts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, logistics, or transportation industry procurement practices.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are an advantage.
