Responsibility
- Lead and mentor the PMO team to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects, programs, and portfolios across the organization.
- Develop and implement PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to enhance project governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Drive strategic alignment between technology initiatives and business goals, ensuring projects deliver measurable value and ROI.
- Oversee project portfolio management, including resource allocation, budgeting, and prioritization to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute technology roadmaps, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track project performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and agility within the PMO, leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps, Lean).
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance project success.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in PMO leadership, with at least 5 years in a Head of PMO or Senior PMO Manager role within a technology or digital transformation environment.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex technology projects and programs in a global or enterprise setting.
- Strong expertise in PMO frameworks (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) and methodologies for project governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for technology projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe) are a plus.
