Are you a seasoned Production Leader with expertise in steel rebar manufacturing? Responsibility
- Production Oversight: Manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to production schedules.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to meet industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and client specifications.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in production workflows and introduce lean manufacturing techniques to improve output and reduce costs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize downtime.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield rates, defect rates) and present data-driven reports to senior management.
- Innovation & Technology: Evaluate and integrate new technologies (e.g., automation, IoT) to enhance production efficiency and product consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in steel rebar manufacturing or heavy industrial production, with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of steel production processes (e.g., rolling, heat treatment, cutting) and machinery (e.g., rebar mills, shearing lines).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage large teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance in high-pressure environments.
- Quality Systems: Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, TPM).
- Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Software: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, or production planning tools.
