Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s IT security strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the cybersecurity risk assessment and management processes, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Manage and monitor security incident response, including detection, analysis, containment, and recovery from cyber threats.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR) and conduct regular audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into IT infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
- Drive security awareness training and programs to educate employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and proactively adapt security measures to address new challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Security Manager, CISO).
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT) and compliance standards.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and encryption technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and secure SDLC practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive security initiatives across the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving security landscapes.
