Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures for enterprise-wide platforms.
- Develop and enforce data modeling standards, metadata management, and data lineage frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, cloud-native solutions) into data infrastructure.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
- Mentor and guide data engineers, analysts, and architects to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Drive the adoption of modern data tools and methodologies (e.g., Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
- Partner with IT and business leaders to prioritize data initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data platforms (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, real-time pipelines).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and modern data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF) or cloud architecture are a plus.
