Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive asset maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance professionals.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for critical infrastructure, including water treatment plants, pipelines, and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate maintenance best practices into asset lifecycle management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, costs, and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in all maintenance operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in asset maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the water, utilities, or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record in developing and executing maintenance strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), reliability engineering, and asset performance optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 55000, PAS 55, or other asset management frameworks is highly desirable.
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Reliability Engineering (CRE) are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving operational demands.
