Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the ICU and NICU departments, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring individualized and evidence-based treatment for critically ill patients and newborns.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed and communicating updates to the medical team.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies in the ICU and NICU.
- Coordinate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in critical care nursing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree in Nursing or related field is a plus.
- Valid nursing license and certification in critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICU or NICU nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong clinical skills and in-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions in high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of critical care nursing.
