Responsibility
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the technical vision and architecture for Career Edge, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliver high-impact features.
- Hands-on involvement in coding, code reviews, and technical problem-solving to maintain high standards.
- Implement best practices for Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes.
- Monitor team performance, set clear goals, and provide regular feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while optimizing system reliability and user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of building and scaling web applications or SaaS platforms.
- Strong expertise in backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go) and familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to balance technical debt with business priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams is a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
