Responsibility
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with promptness, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest rooms and facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Assist guests with local recommendations, including dining, attractions, transportation, and cultural experiences.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using property management systems.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.
- Uphold security protocols by verifying guest identities, managing key cards, and reporting any suspicious activity.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and participating in training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in a guest-facing role, such as front desk, reception, or customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using property management software (PMS) and basic office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, to meet operational needs.
