Responsibility
- Welcome and greet guests with genuine warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery, addressing any guest concerns promptly.
- Provide personalized recommendations on menu items, promotions, and special events to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues as needed to resolve conflicts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area, including the reception desk and waiting areas.
- Assist in training new staff members on guest service standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Uphold the restaurantās brand values and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, or hotels.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for managing reservations and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurantās operating hours.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Baliās tourism industry and local culture is an advantage.
