Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals in the creation and verification of export documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulations.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of export file creation, including data entry, validation, and submission to relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and customer service teams, to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in all export-related activities.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in export documentation and logistics software.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and partners regarding export documentation queries and escalations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, sea logistics, or export documentation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export compliance requirements.
- Proficient in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
