Responsibility
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management to support business growth and profitability.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate audits and financial reviews.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
