Responsibility
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the group.
- Ensure compliance with SGX listing rules, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize cash flow, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and address findings.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic business decisions.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, working closely with tax advisors to minimize liabilities and risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in a listed company or large multinational corporation, with strong knowledge of SGX regulations.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining financial transparency.
