Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on ground support equipment (GSE) such as baggage trolleys, belt loaders, and aircraft tow tractors.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in GSE and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for repairs.
- Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in aviation or ground support equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate GSE.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
