Responsibility
- Manage and supervise a team of professional drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS and logistics software to minimize fuel costs, reduce transit times, and improve efficiency.
- Monitor fleet performance, including vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and driver productivity, to ensure operational excellence.
- Coordinate with clients, dispatch teams, and warehouse staff to align delivery timelines and resolve any logistical bottlenecks.
- Implement and enforce SOPs for driver conduct, vehicle inspections, and cargo handling to maintain service quality.
- Track KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction) and prepare reports for management review.
- Handle on-road emergencies, customer complaints, or delays with proactive solutions and clear communication.
- Train and mentor new drivers, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback for improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in fleet management, ground operations, or logistics coordination, preferably in Bali or a similar high-traffic region.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of 10+ drivers.
- Strong knowledge of route optimization tools (e.g., Google Maps, Route4Me) and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., TMS, ERP) is a plus.
- Valid Indonesian driverâs license (SIM A) and willingness to travel across Bali as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields is advantageous.
