Responsibility

  • Liaise with government agencies to secure necessary licenses, permits, and approvals for business operations.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory changes affecting the company’s sectors (e.g., agriculture, energy, real estate).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local officials, community leaders, and industry associations.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports, applications, and documentation to regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate with legal and operational teams to ensure adherence to licensing requirements.
  • Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and negotiations with government entities.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on government-related risks and opportunities.
  • Organize and participate in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to strengthen community ties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of successfully obtaining permits/licenses in Indonesia.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian bureaucratic processes and legal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with compliance management software is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Bali and other regions as required.
