Responsibility
- Verify and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Record and update inventory data in the company’s ERP system with precision and timeliness.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies or shortages.
- Organize and label received goods for efficient storage and retrieval in the warehouse.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for all received items, including condition reports and quantity verifications.
- Assist in conducting periodic stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures for handling, storing, and moving goods.
- Communicate proactively with internal departments to address logistics-related inquiries or issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in goods receiving, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in shipments or documentation.
- Basic proficiency in inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) for effective coordination with teams and suppliers.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20-25 kg as part of daily duties.
- Familiarity with standard warehouse safety practices and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain are advantageous.
