As a key member of our team, you will identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality 3PL providers to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless logistics solutions. Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential 3PL providers to secure cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment with company standards and client requirements.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and emerging 3PL service providers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess logistics needs and recommend optimal sourcing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze vendor performance, addressing any service gaps or inefficiencies proactively.
- Prepare and present sourcing reports, including cost comparisons, service level agreements (SLAs), and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Support the implementation of new 3PL partnerships, including onboarding, training, and performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in 3PL sourcing, procurement, or vendor management within the logistics industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven sourcing decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
- Knowledge of incoterms, freight forwarding, and warehouse management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
