Join our dynamic Global Network Operations Center (NOC) as a Tier 2 Engineer and play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our client’s mission-critical networks. Based in the vibrant hub of Bali, Indonesia, you’ll collaborate with a global team to resolve complex network incidents, optimize infrastructure, and ensure seamless connectivity for enterprise clients worldwide.

Responsibility
- Monitor and manage global network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, using advanced NOC tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
- Investigate and resolve Tier 2 escalated incidents related to latency, packet loss, outages, and security breaches within SLA timeframes.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams to ensure seamless handoffs and root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Perform proactive network health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning to prevent downtime.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and knowledge base articles for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of new network hardware/software in coordination with engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance to junior NOC staff and participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage.
- Generate and analyze network performance reports to identify trends and recommend optimizations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a NOC, SOC, or network engineering role, with a focus on Tier 2 support.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLANs, and QoS protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Wireshark, Cisco Prime) and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a high-availability environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for global collaboration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN technologies is a plus.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules (including nights/weekends) to support global operations.
