Responsibility
- Execute global new business quoting activities based on RFQ (Request for Quotation) checklists and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Analyze material costs, supplier pricing, and market trends to develop competitive and accurate quotes for clients.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and finance teams to gather data and validate pricing assumptions.
- Prepare and present quote summaries, including cost breakdowns, risk assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Monitor and track quote performance, ensuring timely submission and follow-up with internal and external partners.
- Assist in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, revisions, and approvals in the companyâs ERP system.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline quoting processes and enhance accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with global teams.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
- Prior internship or project experience in procurement, cost analysis, or supply chain is advantageous.
