Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate global demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align forecasts with business goals and customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels and lead supply chain optimization initiatives to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
- Analyze market trends, seasonality, and economic factors to refine forecasting accuracy and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present demand vs. supply reports to senior management with actionable insights.
- Drive continuous improvement in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and tools.
- Work closely with procurement and production teams to ensure timely material availability and cost efficiency.
- Leverage ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced analytics to enhance planning precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Demand Solutions, Excel Advanced) and statistical analysis.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, MRP, and S&OP processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional, international teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or APICS are a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
