Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global accounting and tax integration processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to align tax strategies with accounting practices, minimizing risks and optimizing financial performance.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes and propose data-driven solutions to enhance scalability and automation.
- Support the deployment of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other financial tools to streamline tax reporting and accounting workflows.
- Ensure adherence to international financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and local tax laws, providing guidance to stakeholders as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and compliance checklists for audit and training purposes.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics related to accounting and tax processes, presenting insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-departmental training and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, or financial process management, preferably in a multinational corporation or shared services environment.
- Proven expertise in tax integration, financial reporting, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regional tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
