You will play a critical role in supporting diverse projects, ranging from marine management and sea turtle conservation to the implementation of a large-scale, smallholder regenerative replanting program. Your work will directly inform our conservation strategies, ensure MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) compliance, and help translate complex landscape data into actionable insights for our field teams and stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Develop and maintain high-precision GIS datasets for landscape management and conservation planning.
- Design and implement MRV frameworks to track progress in regenerative agriculture and reforestation efforts.
- Analyze spatial data to identify trends in marine ecosystem health and wildlife movement, specifically for sea turtle monitoring.
- Collaborate with field teams to collect, clean, and validate ground-truth data from smallholder farmers.
- Create interactive maps, dashboards, and automated reports for donor transparency and internal stakeholders.
- Manage geospatial infrastructure, including spatial databases and remote sensing workflows.
- Provide technical training and support to local staff on data collection tools and GIS best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Environmental Science, Geography, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in GIS analysis and spatial data management.
- Proficiency in GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar) and remote sensing tools.
- Experience in designing MRV systems for carbon, biodiversity, or agricultural development projects.
- Strong technical skills in spatial database management (PostGIS) and data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Working proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in remote, field-based environments with minimal supervision.
