Responsibility
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and soil testing to assess site conditions.
- Design and analyze foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability solutions.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and recommendations for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure project feasibility and safety.
- Monitor and evaluate geotechnical conditions during construction to mitigate risks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and field technicians.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in geotechnical engineering.
- Participate in client meetings and present geotechnical findings and solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in consultancy or construction.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and slope stability analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification or membership in relevant engineering associations is a plus.
