Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on gas turbines and advanced manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and testing of turbine components and manufacturing machinery.
- Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to implement upgrades and improvements in equipment and processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance using digital tracking systems.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff or operators as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in gas turbine maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial equipment repair.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, precision measuring instruments, and hand/power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Office, CMMS software).
- Willingness to undergo additional training and adapt to new technologies and processes.
