Responsibility
- Maintain, repair, and modify plastic injection molds to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tooling and machinery during production.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Perform preventive maintenance on molds and tooling equipment.
- Assist in the design and development of new molds and tooling solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all tooling operations.
- Document maintenance activities and tooling modifications for record-keeping.
- Train and mentor junior team members on tooling best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker, preferably in plastic injection molding.
- Strong knowledge of mold maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification or vocational training in tool and die making is a plus.
