Responsibility
- Lead and optimize all agricultural operations, including land preparation, planting, irrigation, and harvesting, to maximize yield and quality.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of agricultural divisions, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
- Collaborate with government agencies, local communities, and stakeholders to align operations with national agricultural policies and social responsibility initiatives.
- Drive innovation by adopting advanced agronomic techniques, precision farming, and sustainable practices to improve efficiency and environmental impact.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain dynamics, and global best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across all agricultural activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in business management are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in agricultural management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Farm Manager, Operations Director) within the sugar industry or large-scale crop production.
- Proven track record of operational excellence, cost optimization, and yield improvement in agricultural settings.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian agricultural regulations, land use policies, and sustainability standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and governmental levels.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; proficiency in additional local languages is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and travel to project sites as required.
- Familiarity with agricultural technology (AgTech), data-driven decision-making, and ERP systems is highly desirable.
