Responsibility
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and maintaining high performance standards.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and address any findings or recommendations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
